New Indictment Expands Allegations Against Sean “Diddy” Combs, Accusing Him of Decades-Long Abuse and Sex Trafficking
Federal prosecutors in New York have escalated their case against Sean “Diddy” Combs, alleging that his history of abuse, coercion, and sex trafficking extended over a longer period than previously stated. A superseding indictment, filed Thursday, claims Combs used threats, violence, and manipulation to control women and those around him for nearly two decades—spanning from 2004 to 2024.
While the indictment does not introduce new charges, it broadens the scope of the alleged racketeering conspiracy, now including additional victims and detailing further instances of misconduct. Prosecutors accuse Combs of not only abusing women but also targeting his employees, witnesses, and others who stood in his way.
One of the most disturbing details centers around a now-infamous video showing Combs violently kicking, dragging, and throwing a vase at his then-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, inside a Los Angeles hotel. According to prosecutors, Combs and his associates paid hotel security staff $100,000 to obtain the footage, allegedly in an attempt to cover up the attack.
The indictment further alleges that Combs orchestrated and participated in what he called “Freak Offs”—prearranged sex acts involving himself and multiple women, sometimes spanning multiple days. Prosecutors claim he used coercion, threats, and a variety of controlled substances to ensure victims remained submissive and compliant. Some encounters, they say, were filmed without consent.
Despite the expanded allegations, Combs has not publicly responded to the new indictment. He has previously pleaded not guilty to racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and prostitution charges. His trial remains scheduled for May 5.
Defense attorney Marc Agnifilo dismissed the updated indictment, stating, “The latest charges contain no new offenses. The government’s case remains fundamentally flawed. Now, they are pushing the absurd claim that two of Mr. Combs’ former girlfriends were not girlfriends at all, but prostitutes. Mr. Combs remains determined to fight these charges and prove his innocence at trial.”
Combs, who has been detained at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn since his arrest in September, recently withdrew an attempt to secure bail.
